Now we now that the hole in Roccolo is a well where, time ago, the snow was preserved.[...]Time ago snow was money. It was stored during the winter to be used in the summer to preserve food, to cool houses, to make ice creams. [...] The Feast of Snow in Roccolo in the middle of the summer is a true miracle. The performance by Benjamin Verdonck, dedicated to the snow and its old use, involved the comunity, the village and the audience of the XXXI InteatroFestival in a special collective event of celebration and discover of traditions. A feast, a bit holy and a bit secular, with an ancient and cool taste in a the very hot summer nights of the Festival.
